The Best Reset

To reset my mind takes determination and the willingness to be uncomfortable because I’m stepping out of my shell. Telling myself that I need a change is comfortable. However, taking strides to make the change is uncomfortable at best. It may even be shocking to my senses.

I tell myself that it must begin. If I don’t get up and make moves and explore my options I will be in this rut indefinitely.

I realize that all it takes is a half step each and every day. I may not be moving towards my goal as fast as I would like. But, like a tortuous in a race I’m moving towards the finish line. It feels oh so good to reflect on my progress.

Who knew, even the slow, small , and tiny steps DAILY, guide me to the finish line.
